Perfect!

There is no perfect life just the perfect moments that make up a happy life.  The past four-day weekend was close to perfection.

Friday:  Tax refund, yay!!!  We always walk in to the accountant's office with one thought, "Please make it so we don't have to pay."  Since our accountant is pretty awesome (if you don't mind the slow typing and cigarette smell), we have been getting refunds for the past few years.  Even after moving to the desert, we make the trek to Burbank (2 hours away) to have him do our taxes.  Kieran was his usual easy-going self through the drive there and back and all the stuff we did in between.  Add Elephant Bar's Calamari Strips and Creme Brulee, perfect!

Saturday:  Snow day is fun day!  To see your kid (cause Kieran is 5-months old and was pretty much there to look cute) have fun is, excuse the cliche, priceless.  The moment of perfection was worth the whiny (tired) boy he became when it was time to go home.

Sunday:  You know that moment when all the laundry is done and folded, perfect!

Monday:  Daddy and Sean both have the day off from work and school, so we head to the park to enjoy the perfect weather and see the duckies.  Granted that the hoard of ducks approaching and seemingly on the verge of attacking us for food was creepy, it still turned out to be a nice day.  To end the day with delicious chili and cornbread that I did not make (thanks TeeP and Big John), perfect!

Since I have decided that this year, I will be thankful and make sure to count my blessings, I say thanks for the perfect moments and add them to the blessing bank.

PS:  As great as the past weekend was, I have mixed feelings about the coming one...turning 33...oh boy!
