Temper, temper...

Can you believe that behind this angelic face lies a hair-trigger temper?  He can turn from a happy little boy to a little monster throwing his toys and  a fit because his trains won't go the way he wants them to.  And the concept of sharing, forget about it.  I just hope my friends with kids that we have been in contact with are long on patience.

I swear this kid can hold a grudge.  He will randomly blurt out that "(insert name here) did it".  It happened months ago!!!  And he is harping on it like it happened five minutes ago.  Let's get over it already.

I have often been told that I was a terrible little girl.  There are stories about the nanny I made cry and how I kept pulling on the little boy next door's hair.  I, to this day, have no recollections of such events.  Did I pass this personality trait to my child?  What do I do to get him to just CHILL?

He can be so sweet and funny that it just makes the tantrums so baffling and make me second guess my parenting decisions.  Am I coddling him too much?  Am I not setting strict boundaries?  Is he getting enough time out?  Should I put him in time out more?  Am I expecting too much out of a 3-year old?  I can go on and on with the questions.

Here's to HOPING having a little brother will make him act more like a big brother.
