Second baby, easier baby?

A close friend told me that her second child was an easier baby than her first one.  Another lady at the pediatrician's office who was bringing her three kids in shared that each child got easier and easier that she decided to have her tubes tied in case she got tempted to have another one (too much info? maybe...)  I can say this for sure, Kieran is letting us sleep way better than Sean did as an infant.  I hope this continues to be his thing.  I think it may be because he is our second child, we are not as worried and stressed so he is not stressed as well.

On the other hand, Sean is waking up super early...coming over to our bed and at around 6AM will keep asking me "Can we wake up, please mommy?".  He has also taken to whining more than usual, screaming and growling.  Seeking attention?  Probably.  I am just praying he gets out of it soon.  But he does love his baby brother...asking to hold him and kissing him.  And kissing everybody, it seems.  A teacher at his school asked me if he kisses his baby brother a lot as he is going around kissing the kids at school (too bad this is spreading germs too, so they had to tell him we only kiss our mommies and daddies).  We just have to watch out for the excessive affection...like squeezing Kieran's neck until he turns blue (thanks for the visual Carmen).

On a side note, we had Kieran circumcised last Wednesday.  Could not imagine a worse torture for a mother than to be in the next room where your child has been crying for what seems like ages and knowing you can't do anything about it?  Just kept thinking, he will not remember this.  Or at least, I hope not.
